When looking for great deals, department stores have offers regularly. But if you want the best and greatest deals then you better fashion shop online.

The truth is online fashion design has been in high demand as technology gets more advanced. A few years ago, people were hesitant to find fashion clothes online because they didn't know if it was safe or not. Daytime Dresses Are Very Trendy Women Clothes

Wearing a dress during daytime is somehow dependent on where you are going or where you want to wear it. Daytime dresses can be used for party wear, corporate wear or even casual wear.

Generally, cotton, chiffon and georgette are a few of the popular fabrics during the warm summer season. As the season becomes chilly, you can easily switch to warmer fabrics. Remember that bright colors are always preferable during the daytime weather. This is because the look gets a spice up, and lifts the aura of the wearer during the day light.

Take note of the occasion you will be attending since sometimes your dress will depend on it. If you are simply going to the office, then matching it with a pair of trousers or even a jacket can spruce it up. Keep in mind that certain occasions may sometimes not require a daytime dress, and would need a rather reserved one.

Trousers are commonly worn during daytime. Aside from this, why not try sporting two-piece short dresses or full-length ones? Designs of these dresses can be as vivid and refreshing as the ensuing day. Short dresses with plunging necklines and even square necklines also make great wear for casual and important occasions.

Day dresses are very comfortable to wear. It can really lessen the heat when it’s starting to sizzle from the ground, and one can move around freely without risking comfort. This isn’t just one of the more trendy women clothes, but is also a convenient and easy dress to wear. You can match it up with high-heeled shoes with the same color or different shades. Sandals can also work with it and can add comfort if it were really warm. It can keep you cool as it won’t cover your feet completely and allows it to breathe. Wear sandals if you just came out of the nail spa to show off your nails!

The sun’s heat can really be harsh so wearing a daytime dress that won’t make you sweat profusely can really be a blessing. A day in the park in a dress is great or when going out with a friend or a date. It can help bring out the confidence in you and be on high spirits. Daytime dresses are a favorite by a lot of outgoing women who like to go out during the day, especially when the sun is out.

You can head to your favorite clothing store to see if they have dresses or you can even order online!

Brand Name Shopping Online for Clothes and Selling Deals

Branded clothing is highly recognizable by customers simply because companies spend millions of dollars to market their name while non-branded clothes, smaller labels or those imported overseas barely get recognition. The great thing about small labels or non-branded clothes is they can be purchased and sold a lot less than branded clothing. Non-branded items are also easily available if you want to go shopping online for clothes that aren’t expensive and have no label.

So, how does one choose between selling non-branded clothes over branded clothes?

For rookies, knowing your customers definitely helps. If your customers have low income, they would probably love having branded clothes, but unfortunately they can’t afford it so they would settle for non-branded ones. On the other hand, if your customers are well-off then they would definitely buy branded clothes because of the pressure of keeping up with the latest styles.

However, the above may only be true in a theoretical sense since in the real world, everyone wants branded clothing. The trick here is finding out, as a seller, how you can buy branded clothing that can be sold to not so well-off customers with prices that won’t hurt their pockets.

The solution to that would be by purchasing overstock clothing.

What is overstock clothing? They are the clothes that a department store was not able to sell within a set period of time. A department store always wants have new merchandise on its shelves. Whatever merchandise that was not sold within a set period of time will be sold out as overstock.

You will have great opportunities for business since overstock clothing consists of branded names, and you can get a hold of clothes at a fraction of the regular wholesale price. And better yet, they are from leading brand names too. The thing here is when you purchase clothes at online auctions, you will receive a wide assortment of styles and sizes, and you won’t be able to specify the number of pants, skirts or sizes for that matter. However, this fact doesn’t really stop the others from shopping online for clothes that are branded, especially if they can get their hands on Tommy, Liz Claiborne, Baby Phat, and Ralph Lauren at very low prices.

However, it will always be your choice if you want to resell branded clothes or non-branded ones. Remember that there are great deals at online auctions on overstock clothes.

Stuck in a Statement Away from Trendy Women Clothes

There are several fashion statements that women really stick out to. However, this might be the moment of truth where you should do a closer reality check to find out if you are also stuck in your favorite fashion or there may still be some hope to dig out the old and bring up the new you!

Why not reflect on this fashion screen and see if you match one or more of these questions?

• Do flustered people tend to overdress than others?

That’s right. People that are flustered are the ones who wear high-necked long, sleeved tops, caps or stiffly formal and proper dresses. It is an ideal trend for some people to hide their repression through their typical clothing.

• Are plain dressers confident or are they just conceited?

People who are conceited dress less since they feel that dressing up is not a form of flattery to them, and that their assertive personality can overcome the chic fashion they choose.

• Do those overly-adorned friends or colleagues have more opportunities in the work field?

This is actually a misconception since overly-adorned friends dress up anywhere they go as they really do not have a place to wear chic fashion statements. In an occasion that you see a friend or colleague in the store, they are probably wearing it for a statement or they have really no place to go.

• Do dissatisfied people never really have an outfit to fit the occasion or a thing to wear?

That’s true. How many of us have said we couldn’t go because there’s nothing to wear? People like this open their closet and despite having the latest in fashion trends, their satisfaction is still low and the style they particularly want can’t be found hanging in the closet.

• People with bold statements brag about their flattering clothes, right?

Not really. As a matter of fact, people in need of a confidence boost will never be caught bragging about their clothes bought in bargains. However, they would look for trendy women clothes for a social fashion status in order to pull off the exaggerated importance of their clothes’ price tags and stylish fashion statements.

Why not take a look at yourself and try a bit of checking with your clothes? It won’t hurt to check your closet once in a while. Now that you have taken the time to see what different scenarios there are, do you know where you fit in?

Are you bold, casual or a bit timid? Knowing this will help you buy trendy women clothes for the perfect look!

Keeping Up with Trendy Women Clothes

Being able to wear trendy women clothes and be able to keep up to today’s fashion craze is probably what every woman in the US aspires. However, the flip side here is in the desire of always being up-to-date, many women today become slaves to the latest fashion trends. People shouldn’t follow them like a shadow since there are times that the latest fashion trend may not be the most flattering style for your body type or even color.

If a woman is not comfortable with the item of clothing she is wearing then there is no way that it is going to look good despite what fashion magazines are telling you. Another pitfall to this is it is very expensive to follow fashion trends like a lost love-sick puppy.

First of all, you should know your body type so you wouldn’t commit any fashion mistakes in the future by wearing ill-fitting clothes. Are you an apple or a pear? Maybe you think the hourglass is the best object to describe your figure. It doesn’t really matter what your body type is since you will definitely get on a trend that would flatter your body figure and would really look good on you. The key here is to choose articles of clothing that would go with your own personal shape instead of just going for what is stylish or what could be seen on the racks.

If you don’t look any good in flair pants then why not try narrower boot-cut jeans or even straight-cut jeans instead? Some people find wearing tank tops and camisoles uncomfortable. What they can do is to find a similar style with higher necks or wear a camisole underneath for better coverage. When a person feels good about what he or she is wearing then whatever the clothes they are in will definitely look good.

If you are planning to follow the latest trendy women clothes then you may want to make sure that the separates you’re buying will have a corresponding match already in your closet. That is why it is generally wise to buy outfits together, so you can make sure that you will always have coordinated clothing in whatever fashion trend you’re in.

A lot of women love to dress, especially when following the latest fashion trends in whatever occasion it is or even every day. No matter how much shopping you do or how much you keep up with the latest trend, you can choose clothes that fit you well and flatter you the best.

Keeping Up with the Latest Trendy Women Clothes without Breaking the Bank

If only it were easy to sail through the ever changing style of fashion each season. However, the most fashion conscious chick may find it hard if she doesn’t know how and where to begin. Moreover, purchasing a new set of wardrobe twice a year can be really hard on the pockets. We must admit that most of us don’t have that sort of luxury, so how does one make a solution to this sort of trendsetting dilemma?

We know very well that we don’t have to go overboard with shopping and we should stick to our budget. There is, of course, a solution to this. As long as a person shops smartly for trendy women clothes then she can shop for more. All one needs is a bit of retail savvy skills and patience then everything will be fine. It is possible to have new trendy clothes in your closet every season at very low prices compared to what you think you have to spend.

The thing to keep in mind is to never buy trendy women clothes as soon as they hit the racks in department stores. Retailers will bank on the fact that there are women out there who will pay for the full price of the latest designs in clothing. You don’t have to do that just yet. Be patient and you will soon see that the price of the tunic you saw just a few weeks ago will go down dramatically with a 30%-50% off discount. Wait even a bit longer and you may find a coupon in the circular in the Sunday paper for an additional percentage off. If you wait even longer, then that adorable tunic will go to a clearance sale and will be offered at lower rates you can afford!

When the latest style appears, high-end boutiques will offer clothes at outrageously high prices, but the department stores will offer the same style, although with lower prices. On the other hand, discount houses will provide comparable items for the best price of all, so you should always be on the lookout for these things.

When it comes to the latest trendy styles, don’t spend your money on items that will only work for two seasons. Spend more on the classic clothes such as a wool blazer or black riding boots that will be able to get you through multiple seasons in style and quality.

Go ahead and shop online since most of the time they offer better discounts and amazing selections.

Hip Hop Fashion Stores Online

We all know that hip hop has been around for a couple of decades and it’s definitely not a newcomer in the scene. The style has actually been around since the 1980s, when celebrities like Will Smith and Christopher “Kid” Reid showed the young generation then how it should be done. The style has then evolved over the past decades, and tastes and styles have changed to correspond with the culture of the time. Why don’t we go through the history of hip hop briefly before we head forward to the present time?

Back in the 1980s, major brand names became synonymous with hip hop. Fashion labels such as Nike, Adidas and Clark stores were sporting leather bomber jackets and brightly colored pantsuits. Sports jerseys were a hot commodity with Will Smith showing them off in his hit television show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” This was the time when jewelries were designed to be heavy, and large sunglasses came into the scene, creating an image of wealth and luxury in the hip hop culture of those times. In the latter part of this decade, MC hammer and the other rappers were introduced to be the hip hop fashion trend setters by wearing baggy pants and baseball caps.

When it hit the 90s, the “gangsta” look was introduced and the previous hip hop fashion shifted to the style which is the fashion statement of the Los Angeles Chicano gangsters. The style, as some of you might know, sports baggy pants that were worn low and without a belt, shirt tails hanging outside the pants and bandanas on the head. Brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Polo and Nautica all joined the bandwagon with this style. It was also a time where hip hop became THE urban street-wear, when brands like Mecca USA, Lugz and Rocawear all came into play.

After that, the style just seem to shift and shift until the time of the bling-blings when the 2000s came in and the blings, or otherwise known as exaggerated jewelry, were made popular by Jazz-Z and the Hot Boys. Gucci even had a hand in providing hip jewelry at this time in the scene as today.

Today, you can find hip hop wear everywhere, and you can even purchase them in fashion stores online. You can also follow the looks of Will Smith, Eminem and the other hip hop celebrities without so much as even leaving the comforts of your home or driving to the nearest mall!

Shopping Online for Clothes this Fall Season

Do you already know what to wear this fall? Well, any fashion expert would tell you that clean and conservative looks are back en vogue. Layering is in, so lay off the skin-baring for a bit. Get ready to style up with some volume and textured fabric. They are definitely the buzzword this fall, including rick colors like black, red, purple and gray. Don’t be shocked to see them in the runway or out on the streets worn by fashion savvy street chicks.

• Snazzy Silhouettes

The “new suit” features fitted jackets matched with a pair of slim pants and skirts to go for a polished, tailored look. Consider a mandarin collar or you can go for a washed plaid wool blazer with your favorite bottoms for sophistication.

Menswear-styled suit jackets won’t be left behind as well. Soften it with feminine details and even a bit of gentle draping, creating a look that works in a boardroom or a bistro.

Anyone can pull it off by leveling the silhouette with a pair of nice heels or a good top. Cropped jackets are always available, especially if you are shopping online for clothes!

• Trendy Textures

Luxurious velvet is coming back this season. Go for jewelry-adorned velvet blazers that create a mod look. There will always be a knit no matter the season, from fat, chubby cables to fine gauges. For a comfy choice on chilly evenings, try a sweater-knit. For a spin on femininity, explore a twin set lined with ruffles or a beaded cardigan.

• Astonishing Accents

For great layering this fall, don’t be ashamed to be obsessed with details. Pieces trimmed in lace or ruffles can brew up a romantic sense under shirts and jackets. It can either be wound along the hem of a skirt or down a pant leg—embroidery adds a splash of style. Paisley and floral designs are classic twists on this modern trend.

A great signature snapshot this season is a jacket cinched at the waist with none other than a belt! You can go ahead and match it up with a pair of boots no matter the height for an up-to-the-minute look.

Not So Formal Women Wear Jeans According to Their Body Type

Looking for a pair of jeans is not that easy as you might think. People could easily find a pair of chinos that would work for them, but a pair of jeans involves a lot of work.

• Getting the right jeans for your body type

This is a great way to search for that perfect pair of jeans that would look great on you. Find a pair that would accentuate your body type and look flattering in it. Consider the five body types and know which one is yours. Try these groups: short-waist, long torso, plus-size, wide hips, slim and petite. For short-waist creatures, try low-fitting hip huggers since these types of jeans will make it seem as though you have an elongated body. For people who have a long torso then go for a pair of jeans that has a defined waist. If you think about it, it goes opposite for people who have short waists.

• Age matters

First off, you need to be honest with our age and you need to wear Shopping Online for Clothes that won’t desperately try to deceive your age unless you are Demi Moore. Accept the fact that the days of torn knee and low-rise jeans are gone. This is not exactly a bad thing since it gives you quite a few options with regard to style and fit.

• The place of destination

Body fit jeans and casual party jeans are very different. Consider looking for a stiffer leg if you are going to a function that isn’t quite a picnic, but not a slacks sort of function. For people sporting narrow waists, straight-legged pants would work best. And if your waist isn’t as narrow as it once was then try it with darker colors. Dark colors are always good for covering up body imperfections.

• When in doubt, accessorize

If you seem to be looking at Cinderella-like pants that only fits your body and to no avail, then worrying won’t do you any good. If you are in doubt with your pants then try wearing it with complimenting accessories. If your hips still remain to be an obstacle then perhaps a good pair of shoes and a few frills on the blouse may help a bit, but don’t go overboard with the frills. You can also try matching the jeans color to some jewelry. Formal women wear jeans so they can also be pulled from casual jeans by accessorizing them with belts.

It’s just a matter of mixing and matching stuff when it comes to accessories. Go ahead and try it. Get more style and fashion tips, news and updates at Wikifashionista.com. Fashion 2011 Trend: Yves Saint Laurent Launching Designer Cigarettes

“The woman who smokes Yves Saint Laurent cigarettes is more attractive than one who smokes another brand or doesn’t smoke at all,“ claims the fashion house.

Yves Saint Laurent is taking its conception of “Le Smoking” seriously—and perhaps a tad too literally. When the French fashion house isn’t employing African artisans to cobble purses together from recycled plastic bags and fair-trade cotton, it’s also lending its moniker to a line of cigarettes. So much for social responsibility. Marketed to women in Asia and Russia, the smokes come in minimalist black boxes with gold foil. You don’t have to pony up for prestige pricing, either: Online retailers hawk the cancer sticks, which have been around since 1989, for up to $44 per 200-cigarette pack.

We don’t have to tell you about the dangers of tobacco, the gaucheness of nicotine-stained teeth, or the idiocy of self-induced lung cancer and heart disease. You’re far too sophisticated not to know. For the less-informed, however, YSL offers a Faustian deal. Its cigarettes, according to the luxury label, creates a “sense of appeal to female vanity and thereby making the woman who chose to smoke Yves Saint Laurent cigarettes more attractive than one who smokes another brand, or more attractive than a woman who did not smoke at all.

YSL isn’t the only high-end brand to market so-called “fashion cigarettes.” Other companies known to have dabbled in the practice include Givenchy, Versace, Christian Lacroix, and Cartier. Ironically, in a 1968 interview, Saint Laurent himself admitted he didn’t smoke his eponymous cigarettes, claiming not to “like the flavor.”

Don’t expect to see this fashion trend hit the US anytime soon ladies. Our health administration would hit the roof with criticism and for sure raise all kinds of preverbal Kane over the concept of selling cigarettes to women under the guise of making them look more attractive. Let us know what you think about the overseas fashion 2011 trend. Is the act of smoking to look sexy outdated or does it still hold some weight? And do designer cigarettes sound even sexier? Let us know your thoughts on this one.

Fashion for 2011: Diane Von Furstenberg Home

If you’re going to live you might as well do it in style I’m sure all you fashionistas agree. The Diane Von Furstenberg Home Collection enable us fashionistas to have it all. Incorporating fashion into even the ordinary areas of our lives is what this collection is all about. It is highly recommended to incorporate luxury and style into your everyday living whenever possible. The DVF Home collection stays true to the popular designers flare for the sophisticated and decadent colors, prints and designs .

Diane Von Furstenberg home collection is lifestyle meets fashion all in one happy package. The shapes, colors, and print of this collection are absolutely gorgeous, and the prices are not ridiculously sky high. The mantra of her brand seems to be accessible luxury.

Everything happens in bed, according to Diane Von Furstenberg , explaining the latest spinoff from her wrap-dress empire, DVF Home. Von Furstenberg has gone on record about the home collection saying, “You are conceived in bed, you are born in bed, you die in bed. You should feel good in bed.” A decorating tip: Ms. Von Furstenberg, who lives in Connecticut, has a studio-like bedroom above her office in the West Village, and had a tent made to sleep in there. “There are so many windows,” she said. “It’s like a glass bubble. The tent makes it cozy.” Already at the top of the most coveted fashion designer list.

Her home collection encompasses so many objects and so many different patterns — inspired by prints that have appeared in the DVF fashion collection . It includes a department store’s worth of tabletop pieces, glassware, bakeware, stemware, flatware, decorative accessories — that is, frames and trays and such — and bedding.

The critics have voiced concern about the sustainability of the collection. For example if I consumers buy a dinnerware set, will they be available for a long time? Most well-established tableware brands will keep their designs in stock for years, so that if you break something you can get it replaced. If this is the case with DVF home then it should prove to be very successful.

Fashion for 2011: Gucci Eco Eyewear and Sunglasses

Known for its luxury products, international famous designer brand Gucci has teamed up with Safilo to launch a whole new line of eco-sustainable eye gear. Not only this, the duo is taking it to another level by announcing a new packaging especially designed for this eco-friendly line. The eyewear catalog too, will be made out of FSC-certified paper. As of now, Gucci and Safilo will launch the four new models in August 2011.

Gucci eyewear, made of improved acetate, outlives the traditional acetate-based optical frames having a much higher percentage of eco-friendly materials. The new acetate in fact is specially designed for Gucci in two colors giving consumers a choice between red/green backgrounds, quite in sync with Gucci’s iconic color combination.

The bio based Gucci sunglasses are made from a castor-seed material to step up the eco-quotient in its own right. These sunglasses though plastic-based outperformed the others by their natural origins helping cut down CO2 emissions in the production stage itself.

Some critics have questioned the manner in which Gucci has gone about introducing this product. Finding it somewhat hypocritical when brands that are generally not “eco” at all, decide to launch something “eco”, saying it feels like they are doing it for marketing reasons alone. (Even if it is for marketing reasons, it’s not a bad thing.) Hardcore environmentalists would prefer to see brands making permanent changes, rather than short lived eco collections.

Ideally, Gucci would announce the eco sunglasses line as a pilot collection, and then phase out all of their non-eco-friendly eyewear in the next few years, in favor of the new eco products. They’d also make some announcements about how they are cutting their use of resources, implementing more recycling, using less packaging, ensuring all production is ethical, etc.

If you’d like to see more brands putting in long term plans to overhaul their businesses and make them more sustainable, ethical, and eco-friendly, let us know at wikifashionista.com. This could be the start of something big, and why not have one of the largest luxury brands lead the way?

Fashion for 2011: Michael Kors Resort

Okay fashionistas, this is the full catwalk coverage for the Michael Kors Resort 2012. We are all about designers giving us more than just two lines per year. No long waits in between productions and the clothing just keeps on coming. Brilliant! Michael Kors  has a certain American-ness to his designs that’s completely wearable right off the runway. Below we see Kors has done the scuba influence better than Proenza Schouler did a few seasons back, and we love the way it is combined with his slick sportswear style. It is also a little more fun and less serious, which is nice for a resort collection because resorts are all about having fun anyway.

This time of year is all about color and Kors incorporates a few good ones in his collection. Above from left to right, we see a vibrant yellow oversized striped tunic top paired with gladiator sandals. Then we see Kors utilize the scuba design for a fitted one piece mini dress with color blocking and a zippered front paired with a sleek belt bag and Birkenstock like sandals.

Now we see Kors jump into some of his signature simple black designs with thick white trim. From left to right we start with a trench coat design which has been a popular fashion 2011 trend item on the runways for resort. The detailing is simple yet fun to look at. Then we move on to a cropped quarter sleeve jacket over a belted high waist bikini brief and matching top. This look is very sporty and sleek. Pay close attention to the lines.

Moving right along, we get more color. This time its neon pink and we love it! Again, starting from left to right Kors introduces more swimwear. This time a one piece with a zebra print design and black zipper front paired with the same flat belt bag seen above with the yellow mini dress. Then we see another variation of the min dress, this time with long sleeves and color blocking detailing. And again with the sleek leather belt bag.

Last but not least Kors shows us his conservative side with a knee length sheath that has a mix of sharp angles and the recurring zebra print motif in black and white. Then we end with a green-yellow colored sleeveless mini dress paired with the fashionable belt bag this time in white and paired with low cut gladiator sandals. Magnificent!

Inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, designer Emily Baker created Sword + Fern, paying homage to the evergreen ferns native to the area. Taking cues from the natural system, Viola Living Jewels combines strong materials with whimsical details to create absolutely breathtaking designs. Fashion for 2011: YSL Resort

So all you fashionistas out there, Stefano Pilati, Head Designer for the House of Yves Saint Laurent, recently showcased the YSL Resort 2012 Collection and it was a wonderful nautical theme. According to Style.com the thriving designer pointed out that Yves Saint Laurent did a nautical collection of his own around 1982. Pilati, a fan of the late designer loved the “why not factor of” of the vintage YSL Nautical collection circa 1980s fashion . Sheer hose and pumps were out for 2012, though, and bared legs and high wooden wedges that had commercial hit written all over them, were in. Really loving the YSL red leather trench coat, the oversized collar screams luxury. The plunging v-neck bubble sleeve belted top with flirty pleated skirt is a classy casual combination. Again the bubble sleeve button down shirt with oversized sailor pants is also a home run (nice button down detailing at the hem). So far so good.
Another take on the red trench coat with a front v split front opening. Next we see a stripe oversized peasant top with flowing sleeves paired with a bell shaped skirt featuring a high waist and side pockets. Then further right we see a stripe summer dress belted and stunning cherry red wedges. The neck piece is also a nice accessory for the sleeveless Spring/Summer ensemble.
Strong vibrant colors, such as lipstick red, canary yellow, royal blue and deep black prints are also abundant in the nautical themed line as well as over-sized poppy flowers seen above and below. The collection is indeed, sellable, commercial and on-mark with the 40′s and 50′s influences many fashion designers are into. It is all very Très Chic and I am sure many a young Hollywood actress will be urging their stylists to get their hands on some of these designs.
These designs are so elegant and flirty. The dresses above would be best worn to a Spring summer wedding, granted you might upstage the bride, but all is far in fashion and war. And not to mention the cutout poppy romper with matching sky high wedges .
