Keeping Up with Trendy Women Clothes

Being able to wear trendy women clothes and be able to keep up to today’s fashion craze is probably what every woman in the US aspires. However, the flip side here is in the desire of always being up-to-date, many women today become slaves to the latest fashion trends. People shouldn’t follow them like a shadow since there are times that the latest fashion trend may not be the most flattering style for your body type or even color.

If a woman is not comfortable with the item of clothing she is wearing then there is no way that it is going to look good despite what fashion magazines are telling you. Another pitfall to this is it is very expensive to follow fashion trends like a lost love-sick puppy.

First of all, you should know your body type so you wouldn’t commit any fashion mistakes in the future by wearing ill-fitting clothes. Are you an apple or a pear? Maybe you think the hourglass is the best object to describe your figure. It doesn’t really matter what your body type is since you will definitely get on a trend that would flatter your body figure and would really look good on you. The key here is to choose articles of clothing that would go with your own personal shape instead of just going for what is stylish or what could be seen on the racks.

If you don’t look any good in flair pants then why not try narrower boot-cut jeans or even straight-cut jeans instead? Some people find wearing tank tops and camisoles uncomfortable. What they can do is to find a similar style with higher necks or wear a camisole underneath for better coverage. When a person feels good about what he or she is wearing then whatever the clothes they are in will definitely look good.

If you are planning to follow the latest trendy women clothes then you may want to make sure that the separates you’re buying will have a corresponding match already in your closet. That is why it is generally wise to buy outfits together, so you can make sure that you will always have coordinated clothing in whatever fashion trend you’re in.

A lot of women love to dress, especially when following the latest fashion trends in whatever occasion it is or even every day. No matter how much shopping you do or how much you keep up with the latest trend, you can choose clothes that fit you well and flatter you the best.

Keeping Up with the Latest Trendy Women Clothes without Breaking the Bank

If only it were easy to sail through the ever changing style of fashion each season. However, the most fashion conscious chick may find it hard if she doesn’t know how and where to begin. Moreover, purchasing a new set of wardrobe twice a year can be really hard on the pockets. We must admit that most of us don’t have that sort of luxury, so how does one make a solution to this sort of trendsetting dilemma?

We know very well that we don’t have to go overboard with shopping and we should stick to our budget. There is, of course, a solution to this. As long as a person shops smartly for trendy women clothes then she can shop for more. All one needs is a bit of retail savvy skills and patience then everything will be fine. It is possible to have new trendy clothes in your closet every season at very low prices compared to what you think you have to spend.

The thing to keep in mind is to never buy trendy women clothes as soon as they hit the racks in department stores. Retailers will bank on the fact that there are women out there who will pay for the full price of the latest designs in clothing. You don’t have to do that just yet. Be patient and you will soon see that the price of the tunic you saw just a few weeks ago will go down dramatically with a 30%-50% off discount. Wait even a bit longer and you may find a coupon in the circular in the Sunday paper for an additional percentage off. If you wait even longer, then that adorable tunic will go to a clearance sale and will be offered at lower rates you can afford!

When the latest style appears, high-end boutiques will offer clothes at outrageously high prices, but the department stores will offer the same style, although with lower prices. On the other hand, discount houses will provide comparable items for the best price of all, so you should always be on the lookout for these things.

When it comes to the latest trendy styles, don’t spend your money on items that will only work for two seasons. Spend more on the classic clothes such as a wool blazer or black riding boots that will be able to get you through multiple seasons in style and quality.

Go ahead and shop online since most of the time they offer better discounts and amazing selections.

Hip Hop Fashion Stores Online

We all know that hip hop has been around for a couple of decades and it’s definitely not a newcomer in the scene. The style has actually been around since the 1980s, when celebrities like Will Smith and Christopher “Kid” Reid showed the young generation then how it should be done. The style has then evolved over the past decades, and tastes and styles have changed to correspond with the culture of the time. Why don’t we go through the history of hip hop briefly before we head forward to the present time?

Back in the 1980s, major brand names became synonymous with hip hop. Fashion labels such as Nike, Adidas and Clark stores were sporting leather bomber jackets and brightly colored pantsuits. Sports jerseys were a hot commodity with Will Smith showing them off in his hit television show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” This was the time when jewelries were designed to be heavy, and large sunglasses came into the scene, creating an image of wealth and luxury in the hip hop culture of those times. In the latter part of this decade, MC hammer and the other rappers were introduced to be the hip hop fashion trend setters by wearing baggy pants and baseball caps.

When it hit the 90s, the “gangsta” look was introduced and the previous hip hop fashion shifted to the style which is the fashion statement of the Los Angeles Chicano gangsters. The style, as some of you might know, sports baggy pants that were worn low and without a belt, shirt tails hanging outside the pants and bandanas on the head. Brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Polo and Nautica all joined the bandwagon with this style. It was also a time where hip hop became THE urban street-wear, when brands like Mecca USA, Lugz and Rocawear all came into play.

After that, the style just seem to shift and shift until the time of the bling-blings when the 2000s came in and the blings, or otherwise known as exaggerated jewelry, were made popular by Jazz-Z and the Hot Boys. Gucci even had a hand in providing hip jewelry at this time in the scene as today.

Today, you can find hip hop wear everywhere, and you can even purchase them in fashion stores online. You can also follow the looks of Will Smith, Eminem and the other hip hop celebrities without so much as even leaving the comforts of your home or driving to the nearest mall!

Have Fun Shopping at Fashion Shops Online

If you are the type of person who likes dressing up and is very experimental with different fashion styles then you will find it very satisfying to browse at fashion shops online. It is very convenient and fun to shop at the available fashion shops online since you can peruse various stores to browse for the latest styles, trendy colors, accessories and fabrics by simply clicking away on the Internet. That pretty much means that you can purchase several pieces of clothes all with a few clicks of the mouse. There’s no walking involved, no driving to the mall and it can be done while sitting comfortable in your office or in sitting on your couch with your laptop.

If you like shopping but lack the time and effort to roam around the mall then you will find shopping online to be very convenient and easy.

You can find fashion shops online by searching or by browsing different sites. Nowadays, even department stores have their own online department, so you really have no need to leave the house just to shop. You will also be able to use your credit card or debit card online and purchase whatever you want. You don’t have to waste gas driving to the nearest mall, and your items will be delivered to your doorstep conveniently as well, so you just have to wait for it to arrive.

The best thing about shopping online is you will definitely find what you are looking for within minutes in different online stores available. This can be done with a few clicks of a button and you don’t have to worry about if you are on a budget since there are great offers available online that may not be available in department stores anywhere.

Instead of walking around a mall, you just have to find a comfortable place in your home so you can sit and browse through the computer for different items and clothes. No need to leave the house if ever you want to purchase that cute blouse that’s really ‘in’ lately.

Although, shopping online doesn’t really give the customers the luxury to try the clothes on. Make sure that the online stores you are purchasing clothes from have return policies. Also make sure that the size you bought is your size since there are instances that customers can’t find the clothes that they bought online to fit their body. You don’t have to lie about your size when purchasing online.

Fashion for 2011: Michael Kors Resort

Okay fashionistas, this is the full catwalk coverage for the Michael Kors Resort 2012. We are all about designers giving us more than just two lines per year. No long waits in between productions and the clothing just keeps on coming. Brilliant! Michael Kors  has a certain American-ness to his designs that’s completely wearable right off the runway. Below we see Kors has done the scuba influence better than Proenza Schouler did a few seasons back, and we love the way it is combined with his slick sportswear style. It is also a little more fun and less serious, which is nice for a resort collection because resorts are all about having fun anyway.

This time of year is all about color and Kors incorporates a few good ones in his collection. Above from left to right, we see a vibrant yellow oversized striped tunic top paired with gladiator sandals. Then we see Kors utilize the scuba design for a fitted one piece mini dress with color blocking and a zippered front paired with a sleek belt bag and Birkenstock like sandals.

Now we see Kors jump into some of his signature simple black designs with thick white trim. From left to right we start with a trench coat design which has been a popular fashion 2011 trend item on the runways for resort. The detailing is simple yet fun to look at. Then we move on to a cropped quarter sleeve jacket over a belted high waist bikini brief and matching top. This look is very sporty and sleek. Pay close attention to the lines.

Moving right along, we get more color. This time its neon pink and we love it! Again, starting from left to right Kors introduces more swimwear. This time a one piece with a zebra print design and black zipper front paired with the same flat belt bag seen above with the yellow mini dress. Then we see another variation of the min dress, this time with long sleeves and color blocking detailing. And again with the sleek leather belt bag.

Last but not least Kors shows us his conservative side with a knee length sheath that has a mix of sharp angles and the recurring zebra print motif in black and white. Then we end with a green-yellow colored sleeveless mini dress paired with the fashionable belt bag this time in white and paired with low cut gladiator sandals. Magnificent!

Fashion for 2011: YSL Resort

So all you fashionistas out there, Stefano Pilati, Head Designer for the House of Yves Saint Laurent, recently showcased the YSL Resort 2012 Collection and it was a wonderful nautical theme. According to Style.com the thriving designer pointed out that Yves Saint Laurent did a nautical collection of his own around 1982. Pilati, a fan of the late designer loved the “why not factor of” of the vintage YSL Nautical collection circa 1980s fashion . Sheer hose and pumps were out for 2012, though, and bared legs and high wooden wedges that had commercial hit written all over them, were in. Really loving the YSL red leather trench coat, the oversized collar screams luxury. The plunging v-neck bubble sleeve belted top with flirty pleated skirt is a classy casual combination. Again the bubble sleeve button down shirt with oversized sailor pants is also a home run (nice button down detailing at the hem). So far so good.
Another take on the red trench coat with a front v split front opening. Next we see a stripe oversized peasant top with flowing sleeves paired with a bell shaped skirt featuring a high waist and side pockets. Then further right we see a stripe summer dress belted and stunning cherry red wedges. The neck piece is also a nice accessory for the sleeveless Spring/Summer ensemble.
Strong vibrant colors, such as lipstick red, canary yellow, royal blue and deep black prints are also abundant in the nautical themed line as well as over-sized poppy flowers seen above and below. The collection is indeed, sellable, commercial and on-mark with the 40′s and 50′s influences many fashion designers are into. It is all very Très Chic and I am sure many a young Hollywood actress will be urging their stylists to get their hands on some of these designs.
These designs are so elegant and flirty. The dresses above would be best worn to a Spring summer wedding, granted you might upstage the bride, but all is far in fashion and war. And not to mention the cutout poppy romper with matching sky high wedges .

Fashion for 2011: Matthew Williamson Dazzles with Bridal Fashion Collection

This the season for a white wedding and if you’re searching for the latest wedding dress fashion trend of 2011 then everyone should be checking out the dazzling Matthew Williamson bridal fashion collection. There are 12 amazing and elegant fashion dresses that stand out in this special collection. There is something for the bride who wants something modern and short and for the bride who desires a traditional floor length gown.

The famous fashion designer has designed his pieces for his current girlfriend, who likes more attractive and trendy women clothes . One can expect to find the best raw materials and exquisite detailing. The dresses will range from $1400 to $3,300. The cost of these dresses don’t seem to be expensive compared to the cost of most wedding gowns during this season when bridal dresses are in high demand.

Below is a peek at the new collection and our thoughts on some of the gowns from the unique collection.
This dress is presently offered in a long and short version. It has a strapless neckline with a tulle strap tie across the shoulder and a skirt formed by thousands of feathers. Simply divine!!
If you want a more traditional design, the gown above is your ideal choice. Draped with a silver strap tie this gown adds a bit of modern without sacrificing the classic look of this wedding dress.
If the look you’re going for is simple, you’ll love this gown. This dress has small precious details and the garment fabric is a type of brocade that makes it even more luxurious and there is a subtle floral imprint overlapping the off-white draping the formal women wear design. If you are a fan of strapless necklines then this dress is worth taking a look at.
This Grecian style gown is perfect for a destination wedding. Details include a thin belt around the waist and a low cut v-neck strappy design. This dress just looks like it was designed to make a woman feel pretty.
Last but not least, this gown has frills for days. This style may work for brides who normally shop for plus sizes women clothes. This piece is designed for brides who are a bit bold and would dare to wear an exaggerated v-neck down to the navel, but conservative enough to wear long sleeves. By the way the belt with broach embellishment is an excellent touch and typical Matthew Williamson.

Fashion Trend of 2011: Feathers

We take a look at the feather trend from recent 2011 red carpets. Because with some trends sometime you just have to have fun and be adventurous. And what better place to do this than the red carpet, and who better to pull it off then the A-list celebrity fashionistas.
Florence Welch has got her wings in full bloom in this voluminous feathered jacket which she wore earlier this month. She looks like a little red-headed angel with the designer white floor length fashion for 2011 gown to match.
Liv Tyler looks every bit as elfish as her Lord of the Rings character in this white and yellow feathered Givenchy couture gown. Check out the detailing. It looks as if white doves are encased in the body of her dress. Givenchy is an amazing designer period.
Demi Moore went for a head-to-toe feathered Prabal Gurung ensemble topping her floorlength gown with a black feathered hat. Don’t know what you’re thinking about this one, but I am getting black swan vibes from this one. And does this woman ever age?
Tennis player Serena Williams takes the feather fashion 2011 trend one step into sugar plum fairy territory with this Oscar de la Renta white gown – easy to do with this whimsical trend. Instead of feeling like she is wearing couture, it looks like she’s a fairy god mother. Wow, her arms are amazing.
Fashionista Diane Kruger is never far behind a trend and shows she’s on top of this one in a black feathered mini with lace sleeves. She almost gets away with it, but the hemline and lace shoes kill it. This dress looks like a shredded ball of confetti. Lucky for her she is a former model, so her beauty is still undeniable.
“Pirates of the Carribean: On stranger tides” star Penelope Cruz walks the black carpet in black lace and feathered creation by Marchesa. Now this is how you do lace and feathers. Leave it to Marchesa to get the equation right for this fashion 2011 trend .
Uma Thurman set a high standard for Cannes fastival fashion when she hit the opening night’s red carpet in a white feathered Versace gown. It’s safe to let the picture speak for itself on this one. She’s just so beautiful to look at.

Mango Spring Summer Fashion Trend in 2011 Collection

The Mango Spring Summer 2011 features a variety of prints such as stripes, polka dots and leopard. Of course the collection also showcases the vibrant color that it is so well known for. Favorite accent of this collection would have to be the stiletto suede fringe boots (so sassy chic). There is also a bit of denim for the layering girl and more great Spanish style to be found in the collection.

Terry Richardson is somewhat hard to categorize, but the pictures for the Mango campaign give the brand a natural appeal with a fantastic focal point. He has proven that his commercial photography skills are sharp and his eye is wonderfully fresh. It’s as if we are in the head of Fontana as she waits sitting on top of her luggage, on airport couches and checking herself out in the restroom mirror. This affluent traveler loves her look and exudes confidence while going places.

What is she wearing? She’s wearing what you should be wearing. Where is she going? She’s going where you are going.

Style and Fashion Tips: Romp Into Summer

A must have for Spring/Summer fashion trend for women is a fashionable romper for every occasion from BBQ to beach. The romper, also called a jumpsuit, is simple to wear and goes perfect underneath a nice cardigan, jean jacket or leather jacket. A romper is the true definition of slipping into something comfortable. Pair these easy one piece ensembles with chic flats, fashion heels or chunky wedge sandals for a fun Spring/Summer time.

Above are some examples of rompers to consider for this season (from left to right).

1) Abstract Print Romer: Short sleeves, fun flirty color with a tie front.
2) Button Down Romper: Pin-tucked sleeves, solid color with side pockets.
3) Embellished Romper: Relaxed neckline, fit loose at the waist.
4) Strappy Ruffled Romper: Sleeveless, cross ruffles and tied at the waist.
5) Navy Stripped Romper: Nautical stripes, solid colored short with buttoned snitched waist.
6) Floral Print Romper: Puffy short sleeves, v-neck, floral print with button details at the waist

Remember that the main goal for fashion for 2011 Spring/Summer is to stay easy and breezy. You want to make beating the heat look totally good. Don’t worry if you’re not quite ready to show off your gams so soon, capri and pant rompers are an easy option to consider. You can also find some ropers with long or kimono sleeves. If you’re trying to find a romper to fits your fashion style, we recommend finding one that works for you at shopbop.com. This is a popular online women clothing store catering to women.

Lady Dior Design Handbags for Spring Summer 2011

Yet another pretty face in the long list of female celebrity endorsement deals. Re-introducing Marion Cotillard for Lady Dior handbags seems a little less than exciting. Typically by now a reputable line like Lady Dior would have renewed the casting for a new model or celebrity for the 2011 Handbag campaign. Granted the French actress has been a fashion trendsetter on the designer fashion scene. Is not showing growth, but rather playing it safe with someone who works. Is there really no end in sight for Cotillard? As they say, only time will tell.

If there’s anyone responsible for Marion Cotillard’s prolonged 2 years with Lady Dior, it is Craig McDean. Since Spring/Summer 2009, when Cotillard began, we get an accurate snapshot of how Lady Dior has indeed changed since then. We see Moscow with St. Basil’s Cathedral in the back drop and French curves ahead, leading the spotlight to the Christian Dior handbag. Presently there are a lot of designer handbag products available that have a newer look and smart designs like this.

For a hefty price tag, I’m sure you’ll agree that we ladies buy the whole package. Though Lady Dior does make some nice luxury handbags, a little more effort to sell them would be appreciated. This is one of those brands that is in need of a facelift or perhaps Lady Dior is singling out the Russian-French audience that has remained loyal to Dior for centuries. So, getting one of these in the US market would be very hard to do anyway.

Top Fashion Designer Alexander Mcqueen Lives on in Pop Culture

Like a shooting star, the talented top fashion designer Alexander McQueen graced this earth for a fleeting moment in time, yet today his inspiring creative vision transcends as life goes on. McQueen continues to be adored by popular culture figures, proving that his work was and still is truly loved and appreciated by his peers.

Recently, the “Femme Fatale” artist, Britney Spears (pictured below) reenacted a popular McQueen moment in her “Hold It Against Me Video,” when she wears an all white dress that is sprayed with paint from futuristic machines. They say that the sincerest form of flattery is replication.

Another celebrity, Kim Kardashian (pictured above), wore a skin tight Alexander McQueen dress to a recent Prince concert. The reality star/ entrepreneur was pulled on stage during the night to perform with the musician and tweeted about the whole thing with excitement. Though Kim’s moment with Prince was epic, her Alexander McQueen ensemble stole the show.

In a recent interview for the May 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, McQueen’s close friend “Lady Gaga says that she did not write her latest hit song, “Born This Way,” but rather the late British fashion designer Alexander McQueen did so when he channeled it through her from beyond the grave.” Undoubtedly, Lady Gaga is determined to keep the memory of her close friend alive not only through wearing his creations, but through her music as well.

Still touching lives through trendy women clothes. Never forgotten. Forever McQueen. Shopping online for clothes at www.shopbop.com makes it easy to get the latest fashion 2011 trend in Alexander McQueen shorts from his designer women clothes this Spring. Pair with some Givenchy wedge sandals and you’re good to go.
